Abstract

|
p-Phenylenediamine has been sold in the market and it is widly used for dyeing furs, but the dtermination methods of p-phenylenediamine proved to be by the method of ferric chloride and feeocyanate.
There fore the author has been determined p-phenylenediamine by Spectrophotometry with acetyl-p-phenylenediamine in ethanol.
1) It is precipitation that Acety-p-phenylenediamine react with p-phenylenediamine and acetic anhydride in absoulte acetone.
2) The wave length of maximum absorption of acetyl-p-phenylenediamine was 262 ??.
3) Limits of measurement of acetyl-p-phenylenediamine was 1.5~4.5mcg/ml.
